Policy
The Youth Justice Institute seeks to inform, feed, and expand its understanding of each youth’s experiences in the juvenile justice system by facilitating learning and teaching about best practices, and contributing to data-informed policy making. YJI works within and outside the system as an independent, accountable, third party, and serves as a catalyst to promote engaged and informed discussion that leads to positive change for system-involved youth. This work includes convening, writing reports, and cultivating new stakeholders to be represented in the system.
